A little birdy told me to...put out your pumpkin it's that time of year again!

Halloween is an awesome time of year (mainly because of all the sweets you get that last you until christmas) but also because it's a great excuse for partying and dressing up and just having fun. For the past few years i've always dressed up as a vampire because it's cheap, popular, and since i bought a vampire dress which i was definatley going to get my moneys worth out of! But this year i've decided to do something different!

I went into my attic the other day and discovered an old devil halloween costume which i wore when i was 10 years old. For a bit of a laugh i tried it on and to my surprise it actually FIT! So i've done some adjustments and created a brand new version of it - making the skirt into a tutu by adding layers, sewing on a few sequins, and adjusting the size so i had a bit of room to breathe! Tadaa

Now it's your turn! (ha that sounds cheesy) It seriously is alot of fun!

A little birdy told me that... xfactor loves leather!

Hello, world - if anyone's reading :S - this is my first blog post (on this blog anyway), and i think i'll start off with two of the many obsessions in my life - fashion and TV. One of my favourite TV shows is the Xfactor, and i always love watching it mainly to see what the judges and the girls are wearing. This week, was rock week, and they all looked feirce, but my most favourite outfits were Kelly Rowlands and Sophie Habibis since quite alot of the others were a little bit eccentric.

This dress from River Island (above) may well be £120, but compared to the price of Kelly's dress (left), it's a bargain. I love the diamonte detail on Kelly's dress as well as the overall cut, but with a bit of sewing - or just shopping - you could glitterfy up this river island dress easily! Sophie Habibis also rocked out in leather, but her customised shoes were what caught my eye. These ankle boot heels from New Look were customised with to say the least, hazardous gold spikes which made them unique and look way more expensive than they really are. It's genius! She definatley made a fashion come-back from last week when she wore a sophisticated red dress which was, to be honest, too sophisticated!
Beyonce Backing X Factor's Janet Devlin To WinAlso, a leather pleated skirt that Janet Devlin wore on the first elimination show, from Oasis, has caught my eye, and i bought it from the shop today and found out that she wore it once i'd bought it - coinsidence! It is a truly beautful skirt and i can't wait to wear it!!
thankyou for reading, more blog posts soon i promise! tell your friends! hehe x
